Hydrant testing at Lambeth Palace

Hydrant testing at Lambeth Palace

Helping to look after the fire safety for the Arch Bishop of Canterbury has been on the list for the Dry Risers Direct engineers this week when they travelled to Lambeth Palace to test the fire hydrants.  We are delighted to report that all is well now at this beautiful historic London Residence on the River Thames.

The work was particularly challenging though (a previous contractor had been unable to free the valves and recommend digging them up and replacing them) .  With a little ingenuity the Dry Risers Direct Engineer worked them free, much to the pleasure of the Palace and the gardeners!
