Installation of a Training Dry Riser System at Plumstead Fire Station

The Brief

Plumstead Fire Station, one of London’s firefighting hubs required a training dry riser system to help their firefighters hone essential skills in using riser equipment during emergencies. The London Fire Brigade trusted Dry Risers Direct to supply and install a robust, yet efficient system tailored specifically for training purposes.

Collaborating with the project manager, our team assessed the site and identified the requirements. Working closely with the project manager, we scoped out the site and pinpointed the best spot for the system. We designed it to fit the trainees’ needs while keeping the station’s space constraints in mind.
The project was wrapped up on time, with no disruption to the fire station’s daily operations. Our experienced team handled the installation smoothly and tested everything to ensure it met all the necessary standards.
Thanks to this new system, firefighters can now train in realistic scenarios, helping them stay prepared and sharp for real emergencies. It’s a valuable addition that supports the growth and skill-building of those who keep London safe.
